If you are the kind of player that enjoys games with rules that are easy to learn, but difficult to master, then Blackjack is certainly your kind of game. While the rules are very quickly learned, there are many influences that a player must understand before achieving any type of proficiency with this timeless classic.

Fortunately Real Time Gaming’s gaming software very closely mimics traditional card play so well that all viable Blackjack strategies will work equally well in Real Time Gaming. This is very important before a player decides to start playing in the online casino environment.

The first item that you must understand is that the odds in Blackjack favor the house. For example, it’s not uncommon for both the dealer and the player to go over twenty-one, or “bust.” If this happens to you will lose your wager.

Another commonly misunderstood bet is the “insurance” bet. This is a side bet that you can make outside the typical wager. This bet comes in to play when the dealer is showing an Ace card face up (players are dealt two cards, initially, with one of the cards being placed face up and the other face down). An insurance bet can then be made. This is a bet that if the dealer has a ten card, and ends up getting a Blackjack, the player will lose their initial wager, but if they made the insurance bet they win that bet. The insurance bet pays two to one and the player breaks even. For many this might sound like a good bet to make but as a player you must realize the likelihood of a dealer getting Blackjack, which is very unlikely with the first two cards. It is typically regarded as somewhat of a fool’s bet, but to novice players appears to be sound thinking. Some experts have even gone so far as to say that this bet should never be made unless a player is counting the cards. Many casinos regard card counting as cheating and a player should never engage in any activity that would be considered unethical.

Another Blackjack strategy that might have you confused is that of “doubling down.” The art of doubling down is a viable strategy and one that must be understood prior to doing it in actual game play. A player is allowed to double down on two cards and increase their initial wager by two. For example, if a player is dealt a six card and a five card, a total of eleven, that player can choose to double down. The dealer will then allow you to increase your bet and then deal you one more card. If you are dealt a ten card at this point you have proven yourself very wise.

These are just a few things to consider before getting too far into Blackjack. Blackjack’s simplicity can be very deceiving and you should learn all you can.

Do you love to gamble? Most people will usually state that blackjack is their favorite casino table game. Blackjack is not only a great game to play but also a game with great odds. For instance, blackjack is the only game that you can actually have a slight odds advantage. If you are interested in playing blackjack the next time you go to the casino, here are some tips.

Blackjack is a great game to play. It is actually one of the favorites for professional gamblers because the odds are excellent. In very rare circumstances, you can actually have an advantage over the casino, if you know how to count cards. While many casinos now deal with 5 to 7 decks, you still have a great opportunity to win at blackjack.

If you would like to learn many strategies on playing blackjack, there are plenty of handbooks and video guides that can teach you the rules of the game, the best strategies to play and how to manage your money. There are plenty of online gambling sites that will allow you to play for fun to learn the game inside and out. So if you like to gamble at the casino or even online, look into the great game of blackjack.

A brief History of Progressive Slots

In the beginning there were no such thing as progressive slots; they only became possible in the early 1980’s when microchips were added to slots machines. Even then it wasn’t until March of 1986 that the first multi site linked progressive slot machines were introduced by the slot machine manufacturer IGT.

Having the same jackpot being fed from a number of different machines (which are often spread across a number of different casinos) means these progressive jackpots can quickly grow to be very large indeed. I have heard of casinos in Las Vegas where slots players have won over $8 million in a single win on a progressive jackpot.

How Progressive Jackpots Work

Progressive Jackpots grow by skimming an amount of money from each and every bet; this means that their payout rate on normal wins (non jackpot wins) is lower than that of a regular slots machine. However if you take the progressive jackpot into account the payout would be the same.

For example if you were playing at a Las Vegas casino on a linked progressive slots machine with a fixed $5 bet per spin. Your money could be divided as follows, 25 cents adds to the progressive jackpot, $1.25 goes to the casino and the remaining $3.50 is paid out in non jackpot wins. If however you were playing a non progressive slots game at that same casino it is likely that your money would be divided as follows. $1.25 to the casino and $3.75 paid out on wins.

The example above assumes the casino has a 75% payout rate, in reality slots at land based casinos typically have payout rates ranging from 70% up to 87%. This is in stark contrast to the online casinos which typically have payout rates from 89% up to as much as 99.5%!

So at a typical online casino with a 95% pay out rate the money you pay in for a $5 per spin online progressive jackpot slots would be divided up something like this. $0.25 for the online casino, $0.25 added to the progressive jackpot and the remaining $4.50 is paid out in non jackpot winnings.

Given these statistics it is not hard to see why many hard core slots players are now playing online from their computers.

Online Progressive Jackpot games

So apart from the free drinks playing online sounds more favourable as a player (in that you should win more). However I have already said how large jackpots can be at land based casinos so your next question is no doubt going to be just how large are progressive jackpots at online casinos? The answer to that is that they are growing all the time, the current record is $1.76 million and interestingly the exact same slot machine that paid that out in December 2005 currently has a Jackpot of over $3.6 Million and still rising! The slots game in question is millionaires club progressive jackpot slot and when this jackpot is eventually won it is going to set a new record for being the highest progressive slots jackpot of any online casino to date.

I have no doubt that even after that has been won a new record will be set within a space of less than a year, the rate at which progressive jackpots online are growing is amazing, only a couple of years ago a jackpot of a little over $1 million held the record. It is my opinion that sometime within the next couple of years the highest jackpots will be being paid out from the online casinos.

So how do you pick a winner?

Choosing which progressive jackpot to play is really not all that complicated. Once you know what the progressive jackpot starts at, what its highest payout was and what its average payout amount is. There are a number of slots sites that give you this information including any of the progressive jackpot reviews at slotsjam.com.

Obviously once the jackpot in question is higher than it’s historical average the chances of it paying out are greatly increased, and if it goes higher than its previous highest payout your chances are further increased again. So if you are chasing the biggest jackpots don’t play the games just after the jackpot has been won instead wait until after that games historical average payout has been passed for the best chance of winning big.

Slot machine is one of the most popular casino games among gambling players. Many casino halls and online casino sites offers play slot machine game. You can find online slot sites which cater to only a slot game. If you are newbie player in casinos, then you can play slot machine. It is a very simple game of chance. Slot offers variety of playing levels; some only cost five cents a play and others can cost as much as twenty dollars a play. Although slot machines are a gambling tool, many players are intimidated by the high dollar card tables and prefer the fun and thrill of a good slot game.

The first mechanical slot machine was built in year 1895. It was called as “Liberty Bell”. The first slot machine was invented by a California auto mechanic. It had three spinning reels with hearts, diamonds, spades and a cracked Liberty Bell painted on each. Before this invention, the “slot machines” term was used to describe various types of vending machines.

The first real wide spread use of slot machines in American casinos is attributed to the Flamingo Hotel, Las Vegas somewhere around year 1940. The casino owners thought that slot machines would be great to entertain wives of customers. The slot machines offer great fun to play. The slot machines comprise over two-thirds of all revenue generated by US casinos.

Slot machines undoubtedly have a rich history. From the small inadequate invention of the mid-1800 to the multi-million dollar industry of today, slot machines will continue to grow in popularity. There are lots of casino gambling sites which offer to play different types of sot machines. They offers to play 3 reels, 5 reels, 7 reels and 9 reels slot machines with regular and progressive jackpots. They also offers betting guide, gambling strategy and information on how to play slots. Players like to play slot because there is great chance of winning big jackpots.

Just how challenging is backgammon to play? It’s a question anyone new to the game will ask. Quite truthfully, the game is not that challenging. The basic rules are fairly simple so that anyone can pick up the game. But playing expertly can be a challenge because a lot of the correct plays can be counter-intuitive.

Placement of one’s checkers can be essential to actually winning a game, as leaving yourself open to hits isn’t very smart. But moving around the board to your home area can take some thinking and good dice rolls. It may sound contradictory, but in the beginning of a game it’s must better to leave a checker open to a hit, rather than later. That is because it’s much easier to get back on the board and through your opponents home board in the beginning when they won’t have many checkers there to block you in as later in the game. This can be determined by odd dice rolls early on and help you later in the game to win by getting past your opponent with those individual checkers.

One thing that is a challenge in the game is setting up a five-point in your opponent’s home board (defensive anchor). This is will keep your opponent from bearing in if you can accomplish it. Another good thing about pulling off this move is making sure your opponent can’t block you out if they hit you. This move also takes some luck with the dice to only move your two checkers in your opponents’ home board to the five-point location however other hit checkers may jump in to help make that anchor too.

On the same note, you will want to get your own five-point filled up to keep your opponent in your home board when you hit them. This won’t be as difficult if you have a opening roll of 3 and 1 or if you slot a piece down there and don’t get hit on your opponents roll. But trying to do both without losing too many checkers to hits can be hard if the dice are not giving you what you need.

Playing the game will teach you how to win by learning what you can each time. Playing against better players will teach you other ways to win. But these tips can make it easier to challenge the next person you play. And possibly make them wonder just how long you have been playing.

Some of the new slot machines have so many side games that they are confusing. It almost becomes a game of inserting your money, hitting a button, and seeing what happens. If you want to have fun, and know what you’re doing, Bank on It may be just the ticket.

No, Bank on It doesn’t have 293 reels and 216 bonus games. It’s a solid 3-reel game and the pay table is easy to understand. As with any great slot machine, you can play multiple denominations and there’s a bonus. Bank on It has five denominations-nickel, quarter, fifty cents, dollar and five dollar.

Do you hate seeing all blanks on the pay line? Not any more! In Bank on It, when you get three blanks on the pay-line, the coins you played are put into a bank. It’s called the “Piggy Bank.” The game puts 150 coins into the piggy bank to start out and the bank keeps increasing every time you get three blanks on the pay-line.

To break the piggy bank you need to get three little piggies. Bank on It has a wild symbol too and that can count as a piggy. The bank is a nice addition and a welcomed side game.

As with any slot machine, you’ll need to play max coins to hit the jackpot. Bank on It takes three coins to max it out. Once you’re maxed, start praying for the three red 7′s, because that’s the magical combination that will unlock the big payday.

Game Play

Playing Bank on It is incredibly easy. It’s not filled with tons of frills. After picking your denomination, you pick the number of coins to play. I never advocate playing anything less than the maximum. If you’re not going to max the machine out, why play? The goal is to hit the jackpot and you can’t do that on any slot machine without going all out.

I like Bank on It, because it’s your typical 3-coin max. You won’t need to put in 15-20 coins or more like other slot machines.

After putting in your coins, just hit the button to spin those wheels. The pay table is easy to understand and it’s right on the machine. You won’t need sub-screens to figure out how to win. There’s one pay-line, just like the good ole’ days.

Once the wheels come to a stop, you’ve won or lost. There aren’t any side games to Bank on It other than the piggy bank feature.

Bottom Line

If you want a simple slot machine, this is it. The machine has three reels, three coins max, one pay-line and one side game. It’s very simple, but it’s fun to play.

Games players everywhere are concerned with fair games. If the games aren’t fair, the players are being cheated so this is why they are always so concerned with the issue of fair games.
There is no way to know for sure if the games are fair. The software manufacturers have a stake in making sure that the games are fair since they have their own names to protect in the marketplace. They don’t want to be associated with any shoddy or fly-by-night operations. Many software manufactures have built-in procedures for testing the game software for fairness as well as protecting the consumer against other shoddy practices, but there is no way to guarantee that these are working.

Many online watchdog entities are concerned with the issue of game fairness and have requirements which must be met before the site receives its seal. The site usually has to submit to some form of software testing to ensure the integrity of the games in order to be awarded a seal. Finding a seal on a site is one way of being made to feel more secure about dealing with that site. Again, there are no positive guarantees, especially in the online environment. Fair games will always be a concern to players of gambling games because it is the player’s money that is at stake so most players will be concerned with fair games.
